Maria Menounos

Maria helped her mother who had the stage 4 brain cancer. She discovered that she had a serious health situation. In February 2014 Menounos started experiencing troubling symptoms. In the cover article of PEOPLE Menounos discusses how she'd been suffering from headaches and lightheadedness during sets. "My speech was slurred. I also had trouble comprehending the Teleprompter." A MRI revealed Menounos had a size golf ball-sized meningioma brain tumor that was pushing the facial nerves. Menounos had an arrangement made to see the Dr. Keith L. Black the neurosurgeon of her mother and set surgery for the 8th of June. Menounos is now 39 years old. Menounos claims that Dr. Black said, "I am 98 percent sure that it's benign but it is not certain until we actually get there," Dr. Black managed to eliminate 99.9 percent of benign tumors through a surgery that took seven hours. She says that Dr. Black stated that it is feasible to observe the tumor be resurrected in between 6 and 7 percent of the cases. But I will consider these odds any day of the week. Menounos has been admitted to hospital for 6 days, is currently at home, and spending time healing. Maria Maria Maria
