Anna Silk was born in the month of January in 1974. Her most well-known role is Bo who is from Showcase's Lost Girl television series. Silk is a Canadian actress who was born in Fredericton New Brunswick. The daughter of Peter an academic, and Ilkay Silk who is a renowned actress director producer playwright educator and Director of Drama of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna is a bit of a child with earliest memories of watching television and attending rehearsals for performances. Silk was a small model in a commercial. In 1997, she earned a bachelor's degree at St. Thomas University. Her early theater experience includes two shows with Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk relocated to Toronto Canada in the fall of 1999, to keep acting. She then relocated to Los Angeles California during the subsequent decade. Seth Cooperman became her husband in 2007, when they met at an Actorsworkshop in Los Angeles. They got engaged in 2009, and then married in an unofficial ceremony in December. They renewed their vows April 10th, 2011 in Fredericton in the aftermath of Silk's converted to Judaism. Silk was blessed with a son named Samuel Jerome Cooperman on May 13 2013. Levi Aaron, Silk's second child was born in the month of May of 2016. Silk's TV work includes the role of Cassidy Holland in Being Erica for which she received the Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. In 2009 she landed the principal character role of Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian television series Lost Girl. Silk got pregnant in the course of production of the third season finale episode. The news was announced to the fans in the Showcase show's pre-show Season Three special on January 6th, 2013. Silk is involved in the production of Lost Girl since the final season episode was first conceived on January 6 2013. She announced via Twitter her readiness to return on June 4th, 2013 as Showcase and Prodigy Pictures began production of the fourth. Silk's portrayal of Bo along with Lauren (Zoie Palmer) as same-sex lovers on Lost Girl was named one of its all-time Favorite TV Couples by CNN (Cable News Network) as well as named the top Television Couple of 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. As a result of the show's popularity, Silk has earned a significant presence on social media.
